Wirick Asset Management was once again a sponsor and a proud supporter of the 2017 Steps for Students 5k Run/Walk for the Catholic schools of the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston. Barbara and Brenda arrived before sunrise volunteering their time as race guides, guiding participants to the starting line and other areas and serving water as participants crossed the finish line.
Steps for Students support the Archdiocesan Tuition Assistance Program which provides need-based tuition assistance to students of all faiths wishing to attend their Catholic schools. In addition to tuition assistance, the event also allows the 60 school communities to raise funds for their own particular needs. This is one of the largest events for the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston.
